Caregiver of the Month: Cathy Wilson, RN.

Caring, compassionate, and competent describe Cathy’s personality. A native of Atlanta, Cathy is an RN who graduated from nursing school at Georgia Perimeter College in 1980. She did additional studies at Georgia State University in Atlanta.  Cathy worked in LeveI III NICU and has over 10 years experience working with newborns in a hospital setting. Cathy has been married 30 years and has 6 biological children. She successfully breastfed all of her children. Cathy loves going overseas once a year to work in children’s camps and assist with medical clinics. She has served on short-term trips to Spain, Morocco, Honduras, Ukraine and Belarus. Cathy served for 6 years with North American Mission Board in Atlanta working with immigrants and refugees. She worked one on one with pregnant and new mothers, taught  English as a second language, and ran an afterschool program for children. Cathy is actively involved in her church and sings in the worship choir. She loves cooking, reading, music and traveling. Cathy has a true passion for people and for helping others.
